Question 1

What does Novre sell?

Accepted Answer

Novre makes modular switches, plates, sockets, and wires for Indian homes, sold direct at novre.in without dealers or distributors. The range comes in three finishes — Matte Obsidian, Brushed Champagne, and Deep Slate — built to fit standard modular boards.

Question 2

Is Novre BIS certified?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every Novre switch carries a BIS licence under IS:3854, verifiable directly at bis.gov.in. Housings are fire-retardant PC+ABS with brass contact springs and silver alloy contacts.

Question 3

What does the 15-year guarantee cover?

Accepted Answer

Every Novre product is guaranteed for 15 years from the date of purchase. If anything fails — the mechanism, the finish, or a contact — a photo sent over WhatsApp is enough to trigger a free replacement within 48 hours, no receipt or dealer involved.

Question 4

How is Novre different from switches sold through an electrician or dealer?

Accepted Answer

Novre sells direct, so there is no dealer margin or scheme shaping which product gets recommended. Home owners choose the finish and product that suits their home rather than whatever earns someone else the most.

Question 5

Does Novre deliver across India?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Novre delivers pan-India with dispatch within 24 to 48 hours of payment, shipped directly without a distributor step in between.

Question 6

Will Novre products fit my existing switchboard?

Accepted Answer

Novre plates and switches are built to standard Indian modular board sizes, 1M through 8M, so they fit existing boards without any rewiring or frame changes.
